Jabar Singh

Jabar Singh has extensive work experience in the banking and finance industry. Jabar is currently serving as the President & CEO of Scotiabank Colpatria, a role they assumed in January 2023. Prior to this, they held various senior positions at Scotiabank, including Senior Vice President & Head of Wholesale Banking in Chile and Vice President & Head of Wholesale Banking in Colombia. Jabar also served as Head of Corporate Banking and held multiple director-level roles in the Latin America division of International Corporate & Commercial Banking. Before joining Scotiabank, Jabar worked as a Business Manager at Banco Lopez de Haro and gained sales experience at Ho-Tech del Caribe. Additionally, they have served as a Professor of Corporate Finance at Universidad Iberoamericana.

Jabar Singh has pursued a variety of educational experiences. Jabar'seducation includes a Masters in International Commerce from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, an Executive Leadership program from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, and an Associates Degree in International Business from the State University of New York Cortland. Additionally, they hold a degree in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra.
