Jeff Sy

Jeff Sy is the Director of Global HR Technology at Scotiabank. Jeff has over fifteen years of experience in human resources and has held positions at some of the world's leading companies.

Jeff began their career in human resources at Aon Hewitt in September 2005. Jeff quickly rose through the ranks and was promoted to Sr. Manager, HR Outsourcing in 2011. In this role, they were responsible for managing payroll services for Aon Hewitt's clients.

In 2013, Jeff left Aon Hewitt to join Pivotal Integrated HR Solutions as their Director of HR & Payroll Outsourcing. Jeff was with Pivotal for just over a year before moving to activpayroll as their Director, Payroll Services - Canada.

In 2015, Jeff joined Rogers Communications as their Director, HR Program Delivery. Jeff spent four years with Rogers before moving to Cloudworks in 2019 as their VP/Principal, HCM.

Jeff has been with Scotiabank since 2020 and is currently their Director, Global HR Technology.

Jeff Sy's educational career includes a degree from the University of Toronto and certifications from HRPA in CHRL, The Canadian Payroll Association in PCP, and Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) in RCIC.

Jeff Sy reports to Anna Zec, SVP, Global HR Services. Jeff Sy works with Ivan Hernandez D Silvestri - Director of Global HR Services Operations, Shirley Slavens - Director of Global HR Contingent Workforce, and Daniel Yelda - Director, HR.
