Matt Clements

Matt Clements is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in digital and operations engineering. Currently serving as Senior Vice President for Scotiabank, Clements has held various senior roles since March 2017, including leadership positions in digital banking engineering. Prior to this, Clements spent over six years at Rakuten Kobo Inc., where responsibilities included the development of multiple eReader products. Earlier career highlights include directing software development for Descartes Systems Group, managing teams at Cube Route, and developing software at Microsoft Corporation. Clements holds a BASc. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
