Albena Atanassova has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture. Albena started their career in 2011 as an architectural assistant at Accord Architecture Ltd. Albena then worked as a research assistant at the Manchester School of Architecture, where they were involved in organizing workshops and lectures. In 2014, they joined Scott Brownrigg as a Part II Architectural Assistant and later became an Associate. During their time at Scott Brownrigg, they worked on various residential projects and was also involved in international architectural competitions. Albena also held the position of Project Director at Scott Brownrigg and Design Delivery Unit. Additionally, Albena Atanassova has been actively involved with professional organizations and academic institutions. Albena began their studies at Liceo Italiano in Sofia from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained a Diploma of secondary education in Italian and Bulgarian, focusing on Science and Mathematics. In 2008, they attended Universita per stranieri Perugia for a short duration, completing a Corso di secondo livello avanzato in Business/Managerial Economics.
Albena then pursued their passion for Architecture, earning a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from the University of Portsmouth from 2008 to 2011.
