Sara Smith

Sara Smith is a seasoned professional in adoption, fostering, and equestrian coaching with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as a Development Officer at Scottish Adoption & Fostering, Sara focuses on the retention, recruitment, and training of adopters and foster carers. As a self-employed freelance equestrian coach, expertise includes coaching para riders to the RDA National Championship level. Previous roles include Head of Operations Scotland at The Fostering Network, where contributions led to the establishment of the new Scottish Recommended Allowance for foster care support, and a Peer Support Worker at Adoption UK.
