Jason Peter

Jason Peter currently serves as a Public Protection Practitioner with the Scottish Ambulance Service, focusing on strategies to engage vulnerable individuals and enhance care access. Prior to this role, Jason worked as an Inspector and Project Lead at the Scottish Violence Reduction Unit, implementing public health approaches to address the root causes of violence. Jason has significant experience with Police Scotland, having held positions as Police Inspector and Police Sergeant, where responsibilities included managing various policing roles and collaborating with partners on community safety. Jason began a career in law enforcement with Strathclyde Police as a Police Constable, engaging with communities for crime reduction, and also has experience in retail management prior to entering policing. Jason holds a Diploma in Police Service Leadership and Management from the University of Stirling.
