Aileen Hotchkiss

Head Of Business Support Partnership at Scottish Enterprise

Aileen Hotchkiss has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and public relations. Aileen started their career at Beattie Communications in 2000 as a Snr Executive, where they were responsible for devising PR campaigns, writing news releases, and handling press enquiries for various corporate and consumer clients. After working there for three years, they joined Scottish Enterprise in 2003 as a Senior Corporate Communications Executive. Over the years, they progressed within the company and held positions such as Interim Head of Communications and Corporate Affairs, Senior Communications Manager, and currently serves as the Head of Business Support Partnership. Aileen also serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Scottish Enterprise Pension and Life Assurance Scheme. Aileen's range of experiences demonstrate their expertise in effective communication strategies across different sectors.

Aileen Hotchkiss obtained a Women's Executive Leadership degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Edinburgh Business School in 2016. Prior to that, they earned a BA Hons degree in Communications Studies from Queen Margaret University from 1995 to 1999. Aileen's secondary education was completed at Stirling High School from 1989 to 1995. Aileen holds an additional certification in MCIPR from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
