Melissa Stevenson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management, corporate affairs, and marketing. Currently serving as a Business Support Manager at Scottish Development International, Melissa has previously held the role of Project Manager at Scottish Enterprise since May 2008, focusing on corporate communications and strategic stakeholder engagement. Notably, Melissa was recognized as 'Godmother' of the Harris Distillery project during time as a Senior Executive in the GlobalScot team, where the emphasis was on attracting investment in the food, drink, and tourism sectors. Earlier career roles include Skills Executive at Scottish Enterprise and Group Administrator at BrainIT, where Melissa coordinated a significant European-funded neurosurgery project.
