Alison Auld

Alison Auld is an experienced professional in carbon reduction, energy, and industry, currently serving as a Specialist at the Scottish Environment Protection Agency since September 2020. Prior to this role, Auld was an Energy Coordinator at Diageo, where responsibilities included energy governance across over 30 sites in Scotland and conducting energy efficiency audits. Auld also held positions as a Senior Engineer at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, and as an Engineer within the Science and Innovation Directorates of the Department of Energy and Climate Change. Auld’s academic background includes a PhD focused on organic Rankine cycles from Durham University, complemented by various internships and work experiences in engineering and industry-related roles.
