Ross Caird is a seasoned environmental professional with extensive experience in water resources management and geoenvironmental consulting. Currently serving as the Water Resources Unit Manager at the Scottish Environment Protection Agency since February 2019, Ross leads a team of 21 scientists dedicated to protecting Scotland's water resources. Previously, Ross held various roles at AECOM, culminating in a position as Principal Geoenvironmental Consultant, where responsibilities included managing the Northern Ireland remediation services team and overseeing numerous projects. Ross's early career involved significant contributions to environmental impact assessments and project management across multiple organizations, providing a solid foundation in environmental science. Educational qualifications include a B.A. (Hons) in Environmental Science from Trinity College Dublin and an MSc in Business and Entrepreneurship from the Dublin Institute of Technology.
