Scottish Event Campus (SEC)
Paul Bamford is a Technical Manager at the Scottish Exhibition + Conference Centre where Paul provides logistical support for Exhibitions, Conferences, and Concerts. Paul has experience as an Operations Manager at Live Nation's Wembley Arena, a Front of House Manager at Hyde Park festivals, an Assistant General Manager at a busy venue, and a Health and Safety Officer at Download Festival. With a background in music programming at The Arches Glasgow, Paul has extensive experience in event planning, health and safety, crowd management, and budget management. Paul holds a degree in Health and Safety/ Contingency Planning from the Emergency Planning College and a HND in Communications from Stow College.

The Scottish Event Campus (SEC) comprises SEC Centre, SEC Armadillo and the OVOHydro. It is situated in the heart of Glasgow, Scotland’s cultural and commercial capital and is one of the UK’s largest integrated spaces, purpose-built for exhibitions, conferences and live entertainment. Capable of delivering events for two to well over 10,000, SEC Centre has infinite flexibility and includes main meeting hub, the Loch Suite. Combined with the 3,000 seat SEC Armadillo they offer 22,344m2 of event space. A truly iconic structure, the OVO Hydro hosts national and international music mega stars as well as global entertainment and sporting events. With a capacity of over 14,000, the venue stages around 140 events a year.
