Marysia Waters

Marysia Waters currently serves as the Head of Communications and Engagement at Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, a position held since April 2019. Prior to this role, Marysia was with NHS Lanarkshire from May 2004 to April 2019, where responsibilities included serving as Deputy Director of Communications and Communications Manager, focusing on media relations, campaigns, and Freedom of Information while managing a team to execute public health campaigns on a limited budget. Earlier experience includes working as a reporter for Greenock Telegraph from September 2001 to April 2003. Marysia holds an LLB degree in Medical Law and Ethics from the University of Glasgow, completed in 1998.
