Pete Haskell is an accomplished communications and engagement professional with extensive experience in conservation organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Communications and Engagement at the Scottish Wildlife Trust since June 2015, Pete manages marketing and communications efforts and oversees the delivery of the Engagement Strategy to 2030. Previously, as Communications Officer at the Galapagos Conservation Trust, Pete developed communication strategies to raise awareness of the organization and the Galapagos Islands. Pete's earlier roles include positions as Science Officer at Coral Cay Conservation and Field Researcher at the Foundation for the Protection of Marine Megafauna. With a master's degree in Evolutionary and Behavioural Ecology from the University of Exeter and a bachelor's degree in Marine Biology and Coastal Ecology from the University of Plymouth, Pete combines scientific knowledge with strong communication skills in the field of nature conservation.
