Scu Moncur

Scu Moncur is an experienced educational and arts professional with a diverse background in management and teaching. Currently serving as the Education Manager and Community Chorus Company Manager at Scottish Opera since April 2024, Scu previously held the position of Education and Training Manager at GambleAware. As the Head of Experiential Events at EVERFI UK from January 2016 to May 2024, Scu led various educational programs for prominent clients, overseeing significant events like EXPO 2020 and COP26. Scu also authored educational resources for Scottish Opera and worked at EdComs as Head of Experiential Learning. Early in the career, stage management and production roles were undertaken across the UK, including a drama teaching position at Inverkeithing High School. Educational qualifications include a postgraduate degree in secondary teaching (Drama) from the University of Aberdeen and a BA in Stage Management Studies from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
