Thomas Kent is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in offshore operations and maintenance, specifically within the wind energy sector. Currently serving as the Lead Offshore Operations and Maintenance Engineer at ScottishPower since January 2020, Thomas previously held the role of Senior Wind Turbine Engineer, focusing on mechanical issues for major wind farms such as the 350MW Wikinger and 712MW East Anglia One. Prior experience includes positions at TRAC AdvantEDGE as Engineering Manager, Centrica Energy as Senior Wind Turbine Engineer, and Vestas as Rig Test Team Leader. Thomas' career began as a Graduate Engineer at Daewoo Automotive and spans over two decades, with notable contributions to mechanical engineering, project management, and innovative solutions in wind energy. Thomas holds a B.Eng (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wales Swansea.
