Matt Garth

Matthew Garth currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company since December 2022, following a successful tenure as Chief Financial Officer at Minerals Technologies Inc. from February 2017 to December 2022. Prior to these roles, Matthew held various leadership positions at Alcoa from November 2002 to January 2017, including Corporate Vice President for Financial Planning & Analysis and Investor Relations, as well as Vice President roles in Finance for Global Packaging and North American Rolled Products. Matthew began their career at Thomson Financial from 1996 to 2002, focusing on global analytics. Matthew earned an MBA from Columbia University in 2005 and a BS in Accounting from the University of Delaware in 1996.
