Jacky May, DVM

Jacky May, DVM has extensive work experience in the veterinary field. Jacky is currently working as the Director of Clinical Development at Scout Bio since December 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Boehringer Ingelheim as a Senior Scientist from February 2015 to December 2019, where they were responsible for clinical safety and efficacy trial study design and implementation for pharmaceuticals. Before joining Boehringer Ingelheim, Jacky worked at Arapaho Road Animal Clinic as a Managing Associate Veterinarian from April 2007 to February 2015, where they provided medical and surgical care and managed the hospital record system. Jacky was also a co-owner of Northside Pet Clinic from April 1997 to November 2006, where they performed routine health care, surgery, and managed the hospital record system. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Associate Veterinarian at Animal Clinic East from June 1993 to April 1997, where they provided surgical and medical care and assisted in establishing hospital protocols and procedures.

Jacky May, DVM obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Microbiology, General from Mississippi State University, where they attended from 1985 to 1989. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued their professional education at Mississippi State University - College of Veterinary Medicine, earning a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree between 1989 and 1993. Their field of study throughout their education was focused on Veterinary Medicine.
