Nicolai Husteli is the CEO of Scout Drone Inspection. Nicolai has over 18 years of experience in the maritime and software industries.
Nicolai started their career in 2001 with a summer job at Det Norske Veritas, collecting data about vessels and adding info to database systems. Nicolai then joined Marine Cybernetics in 2012 as their Chief Technology Officer. In this role, they were responsible for strategy planning, implementation of tactical plans, IPR governance, public grants, supervising corporate IT system, strategic sales work and public presentations. Nicolai also managed the R&D department and was responsible for budgeting and procurement.
In 2016, Nicolai left Marine Cybernetics to join DNV GL as their Group Leader Software Development. In this role, they led software development in DNV GL Marine Cybernetics services and worked on simulation technology and big data technologies. Nicolai was also a member of the Digital Accelerator group in DNV GL.
In January 2017, Nicolai became the Program Director - Group Technology and Research at DNV GL. In this role, they were responsible for heading a new program on Digital Assurance in Group Technology and Research.
Nicolai has a wealth of experience in the maritime and software industries and is a respected leader in their field.
Nicolai Husteli has a Master of Science in Marine Cybernetics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Nicolai also went to Fagerlia VGS.
