Marshall Dempsey

Marshall joined Scout in 2014 and is responsible for all aspects of the oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids product marketing for all of Scout's producing assets.

Marshall earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems at Texas A&M University in 2001 and his MBA from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2008. Marshall has over 20 years of experience in the energy industry and began his career at TXU in 2001 as part of a development team responsible for generation forecasts, wholesale contract pricing, and monthly financial settlement. In 2006 he began work with Merit Energy holding various positions over eight years in Production Measurement, Treasury, Product Marketing for Merit's Gulf of Mexico, Michigan, and Rockies assets, and Divestitures.

Marshall previously served on the Board of Directors for Livada Orphan Care, a ministry dedicated to providing support and care to Romanian Orphans and at-risk Roma children. He has fulfilled his passion for this work alongside his family, having been involved with Livada since 2011 as a volunteer and fundraiser in both Romania and the United States.
