Mukta Ghalsasi

Mukta Ghalsasi has a diverse work experience in the field of infotainment and software in the automotive industry. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Volkswagen Group of America - Electronics Research Lab, where they collaborated with UC Berkeley on speech data processing and developed a prototype for GPU-accelerated speech processing. Mukta then joined Drexel University as a Teaching Assistant in 2006. In 2008, they returned to Volkswagen Group of America - Electronics Research Lab as a Senior Staff Engineer, where they worked until 2017. During this time, they gained expertise in the development of connected services platforms. From 2017 to 2023, they worked at Volkswagen of America, Inc as a Manager, overseeing the portfolio of connected services platforms. Currently, Mukta is the Director of infotainment and software at Scout Motors Inc.

Mukta Ghalsasi completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from the University of Mumbai between 2002 and 2006. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Drexel University, which they accomplished from 2006 to 2008.
