Karin Hagen-Gierer

Karin Hagen-Gierer is currently the Chief Procurement Officer at Sandoz since April 2023 and serves as a Strategic Advisor for both Scoutbee and Archlet. With a robust procurement background, Karin held the position of Senior Advisor at Kearney from September 2022 to April 2023 and served as Group Chief Procurement Officer at Ardagh Group from 2020 to 2022, managing global procurement operations valued at approximately $4.5 billion. Previous roles include Chief Procurement Officer at Sanofi, overseeing global procurement exceeding €10 billion, and various leadership positions at Unilever, culminating as Vice President for Procurement, Marketing and Business Services. Karin holds a Dipl. Kauffrau in Business Administration from the University of Augsburg, a M.A. in Economics from Wayne State University, and has completed banking training at Bayerische Hypotheken- und Wechselbank AG.
