Clay Howey has over twenty years of experience in proposal writing, contract negotiation, project management, and software development, currently serving as Research Faculty in the Smart Microgrid Applied Research Team at BCIT since June 1990. This role encompasses all aspects of the software development process, including project proposal, systems analysis, design, development, installation, testing, documentation, and user training. Additionally, Clay Howey has been a volunteer Venturer Advisor for the 6th Centre Lake Scout Group since October 2009, previously holding various leadership positions within Scouts Canada, which involve planning meetings, outings, and educational activities for youth. Clay Howey holds a B. Tech in Computer Systems from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
