Mischa Kaplan, MSc, CHRL, CPHR has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Mischa is currently the Executive Director, Culture and Enabling Services at Scouts Canada, where they provide strategic direction and operational management for various departments. Previously, they served as the Vice President, People & Culture at Cystic Fibrosis Canada and as the Director of HR and Organizational Development at Ottawa Tourism. Mischa also has experience in academia as a part-time Professor at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology. Prior to their career in HR, Mischa served in the Canadian Armed Forces as an Intelligence Officer and Infantry Officer. Mischa also pursued doctoral studies in history and international relations at the University of Toronto. Overall, Mischa's work experience showcases their expertise in HR, leadership, and strategic planning.

Mischa Kaplan, MSc, CHRL, CPHR holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Management, with a specialization in HR & Organizational Behaviour, from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Additionally, they have pursued further education at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, where they studied Human Resources Management.

Further academic achievements include a Master of Arts (MA) degree in History, focusing on International and Colonial History, from Queen's University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from McGill University.
