Catalin Roman

Catalin Roman is an accomplished Senior Embedded HW/FW Design Engineer at Proceq, part of Screening Eagle Technologies, since September 2020, and serves as the Founder and CEO of PHI R-Electronics Srl since January 2020. With a robust background in electronics engineering, Catalin has held significant roles including Senior Electronics Engineer at Hapa AG, where expertise in ARM/FPGA projects was demonstrated. Noteworthy projects include the development and troubleshooting of Printhead Controllers, applying HDL coding with VHDL and Verilog. Leadership experience spans multiple startups, focusing on team development and advanced system design, supported by a Master’s degree in Automation and Computers Engineering from Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași.
