John Swinson

John Swinson is a Professor at The University of Queensland since October 2017, specializing in cybersecurity law, privacy law, Internet & AI law, and copyright law. As Principal at Pie Legal since September 2021, John leads a law firm focusing on intellectual property, trademark, domain name, Internet, and commercial law. John has served as a Panelist for the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the FORUM since 2000 and January 2023, respectively, while also acting as an Independent Expert at Screenrights since June 2018.
