Matt Ross

Matt Ross is an experienced professional in the fields of machine learning and data science, currently serving as the Director of Applied Research at Scribd, Inc. since June 2021, leading a team that leverages advanced language models for diverse content applications. With prior roles at the City of London, Canada, as Manager II in Artificial Intelligence and Analytics, Matt oversaw the lifecycle of data science projects and managed teams of data scientists and engineers. Experience also includes serving as a Data Scientist at Apeiron Automation, co-founding FillSpaces as COO, and founding the London Youth Advisory Council as Executive Director. Matt holds a Major in Chemistry from Western University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Huron University.
