Brittney Thorpe has extensive experience in the medical and legal fields, currently serving as a Medical Scribe for Scribe Solutions, Inc. since August 2013, specializing in Emergency Medicine and Infectious Disease. Responsibilities include producing detailed medical documentation in real-time within Allscripts EHR and training new employees. In the role of Medical Scribe Manager, Brittney liaises between physicians and scribes regarding documentation protocols and consults with relevant departments to enhance EMR charts for the ER. Previous experience includes positions as a Legal Editorial/Administrative Assistant at Florida Administrative Law Review, Inc., and as a Legal Administrative Assistant at Fox & Loquasto, P.A., where Brittney developed skills in editing legal publications and managing sensitive legal documents. Brittney holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Public Health from the University of North Florida, along with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Science from Jacksonville University.
