Gary B. Glass

Gary joined HealthChannels with more than two decades’ worth of legal, compliance and human resources experience in various areas including government, large law firms, and privately-held and publicly traded companies. He began his legal career as a criminal prosecutor at the New York County District Attorney’s office in Manhattan. After three years as an Assistant District Attorney, he joined the private sector as an associate at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler and then as a partner at Winston & Strawn, a global white-shoe law firm with 1,000+ attorneys across three continents. After 11 years of outside counsel practice, Gary moved in-house in 2002 as a Senior Assistant General Counsel for Altria Group Inc., a Fortune 20 consumer product manufacturing conglomerate including Philip Morris, Kraft Foods, and Miller Beer. At Altria, based in New York City, Gary focused on litigation, corporate compliance, and human resources.

He later joined UST Inc., a $12 billion S&P 500 manufacturing company based in Connecticut, as the Company’s General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. After UST was acquired and its HQ relocated to Va. in 2009, Gary accepted the role of General Counsel, Chief Human Resources Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer at iGPS Logistics, a privately-held asset pooling company based in Florida. After 5+ years at iGPS, Gary joined HealthChannels (then called ScribeAmerica) in 2015 and currently serves as the Company’s General Counsel, Chief Human Resources Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, and Corporate Secretary.

Gary graduated from Princeton University in 1987 and Fordham University School of Law in 1992.
