Hena Shami

Hena Shami is an experienced educator with a strong background in curriculum development and instruction in the sciences. Currently serving as a Curriculum Content Developer at ScribeConcepts LLC and an AP Chemistry Instructor at IvyMax Inc, Hena has previously worked as a Virtual Literacy Tutor at Carnegie Learning and as a G/T Resource Teacher for Howard County Public Schools. Additional roles include a High School Chemistry Teacher and Curriculum Writer for Carroll County Public Schools, as well as a Middle School Science Teacher at Al-Rahmah School. Hena holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Maryland, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Loyola University Maryland, and is pursuing a PhD in Educational Leadership and Administration at Liberty University.
