Dan Giurgiu

Dan Giurgiu is the owner of Dan I Giurgiu, MD, APC, a private medical practice specializing in general and advanced laparoscopic surgery, established in 2002. Simultaneously, Dan Giurgiu serves as a staff physician and Chief of Surgery at Scripps Health, focusing on safe and effective surgical treatments through an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Dan Giurgiu holds an M.D. from the Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed a fellowship in endoscopic and minimally invasive surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Training includes internship and residency in general surgery at Drexel University. Dan Giurgiu also possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Political Science from Kenyon College and a French Baccalaureat in Science from Lycée Francais de N.Y.
