Dawn Thomas

Dawn Thomas is an experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in surgical services management and perioperative nursing. Currently serving as the Surgical Services Manager at Scripps Health since June 2015, Dawn has also held the position of Perioperative Supervisor at both Scripps Health and Scripps Health Mercy Chula Vista. With a career that began in March 2001 as an OR Nurse and later as a Perioperative Nurse Educator, Dawn has a comprehensive understanding of various surgical specialties in a high-volume urban trauma center. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Nursing Education from California State University-Dominguez Hills and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from San Diego State University.
