Jennifer Berklas

Jennifer Berklas is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in human resources and risk management. Currently serving as the Assistant Vice President for Human Capital & Risk Management at Scripps College since October 2012, Jennifer oversees HR functions for approximately 550 faculty and staff, in addition to 600 student employees, while advising the C-suite and Board of Trustees. Prior to this role, Jennifer was the Manager of HR Services at Insperity from August 2006 to October 2012, managing a team and providing comprehensive HR services to around 2,200 employees. Jennifer's earlier experience includes serving as the Assistant Vice President and Director of Human Resources at Community Commerce Bank, where responsibilities encompassed employee relations, compliance, and training. Academically, Jennifer holds a Juris Doctorate from New York Law School and an MBA from Villanova University, along with certifications in human resources management and higher education administration.
