Constanza Torres-Paris

Postdoctoral Associate at Scripps Research

Constanza Torres-Paris is currently a Postdoctoral Associate at Scripps Research in Lisa Racki's lab since May 2024. Previously, Constanza served as a Postdoctoral Scholar at UC San Diego under Elizabeth A. Komives, where a novel expression and purification method for TWEAK was developed. Constanza's background includes roles as a Graduate Student Researcher, Instructor of Record for General Chemistry I, and Teaching Assistant for multiple chemistry courses at UC San Diego. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics and an MS in Chemistry and Biochemistry from UC San Diego, as well as an Engineer's degree and Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biotechnology Engineering from Universidad de Chile. Research experience includes microbiology projects during undergraduate studies at Universidad de Chile.
