Kayla Nutsch

Kayla Nutsch, PhD, is a Graduate Research Assistant at Scripps Research's Bollong Lab, where ongoing projects include leading a high-throughput screening campaign that discovered a novel class of TEAD protein inhibitors with promising anti-tumor efficacy. Prior roles included Research Assistant II, where Kayla developed various assays for oncology and managed collaborative projects. Kayla's academic background includes a PhD in Chemical Biology from Scripps Research, a Master's in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics, and a Bachelor's degree in the same field, all from Kansas State University. Previous teaching and tutoring experiences at Kansas State have involved instructing courses in biochemistry and leadership studies.
