Kathy Sterling

Kathy Sterling has extensive experience in administrative support and education. Since January 1996, Kathy has served as a Senior Administrative Assistant at The Scripps Research Institute, providing essential support to research laboratory personnel including managing supplies, tracking expenditures, preparing research grants, and coordinating travel and personnel actions. Previously, Kathy worked as an Elementary Teacher and Camp Director at National City Kid's College from June 1993 to September 1995, where responsibilities included teaching combination classes and supervising an after-school daycare program. Additionally, from October 1991 to June 1993, Kathy was a Substitute Teacher and Basic Skills Teacher for the San Diego Unified School District, instructing students in grades K-8. Kathy holds a BA in Psychology and a Teaching Credential in Elementary Education from San Diego State University.
