Doug Skiles

Doug Skiles has extensive work experience in various technical writing and editing roles. Doug started their career with the University of Missouri's Mizzou Annual Fund, where they developed and executed fundraising campaigns through direct mail and phone solicitations. Doug then worked as a Marketing Copywriter and Editor at Dri-Eaz Products, Inc., producing advertising and marketing materials for restoration businesses. At United Country Real Estate, they served as the Writing Manager, responsible for creating B2C and some B2B content for print, online, and multimedia advertisements.

Moving forward, Doug joined DST Pharmacy Solutions (formerly Argus Health), where they edited manuals, developed interactive forms, and wrote procedure documents and workflows. Doug also contributed to marketing campaigns and internal/external communications, focusing on pharmaceutical regulations and benefits coverage. Later, at Wells Fargo, they worked as a Business Applications Analyst, building and copy editing forms, applying database management skills, and performing ADA tagging on PDFs.

Most recently, Doug worked at Build KCI as an ORAT Technical Writer and is currently employed at ScriptPro as a Technical Writer.

Doug Skiles received their Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Doug attended the university from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their degree, they obtained a certification as a Six Sigma Yellow Belt from the Six Sigma Management Institute by Dr. Mikel J. Harry in August 2018.
