Niels Verdonk

Niels Verdonk has extensive work experience in various roles related to Agile processes and software development. Niels is currently a Partner at Better Change since 2022. Prior to this, Niels worked as a Certified Scrum Trainer at Scrum Alliance starting from 2017. Niels provided training in Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM), Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (A-CSPO), and Certified Scrum Professional (CSP-SM).

Before Scrum Alliance, Niels worked at Sordes as an Agile Coach and Certified Scrum Trainer from 2012 to 2022. Niels'sresponsibilities included helping teams deliver high-quality software, working as a Scrum Master or Product Owner, and serving as an interim Development Manager.

From 2013 to 2021, Niels worked as an Agile Coach / Managing Director at agile42, a consultancy company specializing in Agile processes such as Scrum and Kanban. Niels led the company's global presence and introduced Agile frameworks to managers in various countries.

Prior to this, Niels worked at eBuddy as the VP Development, where they coached teams, Scrum Masters, and facilitated an environment for self-organization. Niels also served as the Director of Development, leading the organization's adoption of Agile methodologies.

Earlier in their career, Niels worked as a Technical Architect at Blast Radius, where they worked on projects for clients such as Nintendo and Nike. Niels also worked as a Senior Developer at Novell, where they contributed to building a global sales force automation tool.

Niels started their career as a Senior Developer at Cambridge Technology Partners and Client Soft, where they worked on projects involving technologies such as Oracle, J2EE, and Weblogic App server.

Niels Verdonk began their education at Meander College from 1983 to 1990. Afterward, they enrolled at Delft University of Technology from 1990 to 1994, although the specific degree or field of study they pursued during this time is unknown.
