Satisha K Venkataramaiah

Satisha K Venkataramaiah has had a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Satisha K is currently the CEO of The Glampies, a glamorous camping site near Bengaluru. Prior to this, they founded Leanpitch in 2011 and served as the Founder and Chief Curator. At Leanpitch, they focused on spreading agility and offered workshops on product management, scrum, and organizational transformation consulting.

Satisha also worked as a Certified Scrum Trainer for Scrum Alliance, where they conducted workshops on Scrum methodologies and encouraged individuals to embrace Scrum in their work. In addition, they served as the CEO and Product Owner of Startup Planner, where they were responsible for product positioning, user research, and marketing strategy. At leanGears LLC, they worked as the Founder and CEO, leading the product development and management initiatives.

Earlier in their career, Satisha worked as an Agile Coach at Altair Engineering, implementing Scrum-based processes and training teams on agile methodologies. Satisha K also held positions at General Electric as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Systems Analyst, where they led Six Sigma projects and spread Lean Six Sigma awareness.

Satisha started their career as an Engineer at CMC Limited, where they developed IT systems for clients, primarily State Government of Karnataka. Satisha K worked on customizing and implementing proprietary products, conducting feasibility studies and gap analysis.

Satisha K Venkataramaiah completed a Diploma in Computer Science from MEI Polytechnic between 1996 and 1999. Later, between 2000 and 2004, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a focus on Computer Science from B. M. S. College of Engineering. In 2008 and 2009, Satisha attended the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, completing an Executive Program in Business Management.

In addition to their formal education, Satisha also earned various certifications. Satisha K became a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach from the Coaches Training Institute in July 2018. In May 2013, they obtained the Certified Scrum Trainer certification from the Scrum Alliance, and in July 2011, they became an Agile PM Practitioner certified by APMG. Satisha also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from General Electric, which they acquired in May 2005.

Furthermore, Satisha obtained multiple certifications related to Scrum. In November 2010, they became a Certified Scrum Master, followed by the Certified Scrum Professional certification in October 2011. Satisha K also acquired the Certified Scrum Product Owner certification in March 2013, all from the Scrum Alliance.

Satisha's professional development also includes the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in April 2005. Lastly, they hold a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from the American Society of Quality, acquired in October 2010. In May 2019, Satisha became an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coach Federation.
