Emily Sirrs is a qualified environmental engineer with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Waterloo, completed in 2020. Emily has gained significant experience in stormwater management, currently working as a Stormwater Management Engineer in Training at SCS Consulting Group Ltd. since August 2020, and previously served as a Stormwater Management Engineering Assistant at the same company during the summer of 2019. Prior to these roles, Emily held various positions including Wet Weather/Urban Systems Modelling Co-op Student and Linear Infrastructure Co-op at WSP in Canada, Wastewater Systems Effluent Regulations Compliance Officer at Environment and Climate Change Canada, and Engineering Co-op with the City of St. Catharines. Additionally, Emily has experience as a Teaching Assistant for civil and environmental engineering concepts at the University of Waterloo.
