Jiong Zhou has over 15 years of experience in the technology industry. Jiong started their career as a System Administrator at FreshDirect, where they played a key role in managing the company's online grocery retail system. Jiong provided 24x7 support, performed system administration tasks, and ensured system performance and security.
In 2005, Jiong joined Commerzbank AG as a Senior System Engineer. Jiong led the migration team and successfully consolidated five datacenters into two. Jiong also merged the NetApp/Linux system within the new Commerzbank AG, following the global standard of investment-based banking.
In 2010, Jiong joined Société Générale as a Senior Storage Administrator. Jiong worked in this role for three years, providing expertise in storage administration and contributing to the company's technology operations.
Since 2013, Jiong has been with Sculptor Capital Management as the Head of Global Technology Infrastructure and Operations. Jiong has demonstrated strong leadership skills in managing the company's technology infrastructure and operations on a global scale.
Jiong Zhou obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University between 1992 and 1996. Later, from 2001 to 2003, Jiong pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from New York University. In addition to their educational background, Jiong Zhou also obtained the (ISC)2 Security CISSP certification from (ISC)² in October 2022.
