Nicole Jacobson has over 18 years of work experience in the technology field. Nicole began their career in 2001 as a Computer Controller for the United States Air Force. In 2004, they joined Northrop Grumman Corporation as a Web Application Developer, where they designed and maintained web application interfaces for the US Defense Information Agency using HTML and Java. In 2006, they moved to the Colorado Department of Corrections as a Web Developer, developing custom content management systems on top of CakePHP and ExtJS for maintenance of public websites. In 2010, they returned to the United States Air Force as a Web Developer, maintaining Alconbury AFB 423 FSS website using Ruby on Rails based BrowserCMS. In 2012, Nicole joined the University of Guam as a Web Developer/Analyst, developing and maintaining Active Directory self-service app built on Ruby on Rails. In 2014, they moved to CA Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer, developing and maintaining distributed web stacks in Java, Clojure, and Javascript on top of an Oracle database. Most recently, in 2019, Nicole joined Scythe Robotics as a Cloud and Data Platform Engineer, where they are responsible for cloud wrangling and robot data pipeline building.

Nicole Jacobson completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer and Information Sciences, General from the University of Maryland Global Campus between 2010 and 2011. Nicole also completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer and Information Science from the same university.
