Kiranmayi Deshpande

Kiranmayi Deshpande has extensive experience in product development and management within the coatings and aerogel industries. Currently serving as Manager of the Functional Coatings Development and Analytical Group and Antifog Team Lead at SDC Technologies, Inc. since June 2012, Kiranmayi leads the Anti-fog Product Development group and focuses on adopting advanced technologies for new product development, establishing manufacturing controls, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting quality assurance. Prior roles include Senior Scientist II and Research Leader at Aspen Aerogels, where Kiranmayi oversaw product formulation development for key commercial products. Kiranmayi began a postdoctoral research role at Southern Illinois University, specializing in stimuli-responsive silicate-based matrices for enzyme stabilization and controlled release. Kiranmayi holds a PhD from the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology in Hyderabad, India, and an Applied Project Management Certification from UC Irvine.
