Ren-Zhi Jin

Ren-Zhi Jin has extensive work experience in the field of product development and chemistry. Ren-Zhi began their career at UC Irvine in 1999 as a postdoc/group leader, where they stayed until 2002. Ren-Zhi then joined SDC Technologies, Inc. in 2002 as a Senior Chemist, focusing on the development of various coating systems for lenses and sheets made of polycarbonate and polyamide. In 2011, they transitioned to a role as a Team Lead at SDC Technologies, Inc. and later became a Manager in 2014, working specifically on the development of hardcoat systems. In 2017, they were promoted to the position of Director, overseeing overall product development at SDC Technologies, Inc.

Ren-Zhi Jin obtained a D. Eng degree in Organic and Organosilicon Chemistry from Kyoto University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999.
