Juan Felipe Carmona

Juan Felipe Carmona has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and education. Juan Felipe started their career as a Lecturer at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 2009 and continued in the academic field as a Lecturer at Universidad Antonio Nariño from 2015 to 2017. In 2013, Juan worked as a Constructor de ítems at Instituto Colombiano para la Evaluación de la Educación (ICFES) for a year.

From 2018 to 2020, Juan served as a Lecturer at Universidad de los Andes - Colombia. In 2019, they worked as an Independent Consultant at Udacity and as a Senior Data Scientist at Woombat Consulting Group S.A.S for a few months.

In 2020, Juan joined SDG Group as a Data Scientist and later moved to Laguna-ai as a Data Scientist as well.

Juan Felipe Carmona received their Master's degree in Mathematics from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia from 2009 to 2010. Juan Felipe then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mathematics from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and Universidad de Los Andes, completing it from 2011 to 2015. Later, in 2017 to 2018, Juan Felipe Carmona studied Machine-Learning Engineering from Udacity, earning a degree in the field.
