In addition, Patricia has held positions at institutions such as the Colorado School of Mines, Newfield Exploration, DRM ENERGY CORP, IRESERVOIR.com, Inc, TRICON GEOPHYSICS, Inc, PDVSA - Intevep, and PDVSA- Intevep. Patricia'sroles included researching the influence of viscoelastic behavior of heavy oils, developing petrophysical models, evaluating oil and gas prospects, and performing geostatistical studies.

Patricia Rodrigues obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar from 1991 to 1996. Patricia then pursued a Specialist degree in Reservoir Engineering at the same university from 1998 to 1999. In 1999, they completed their Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar. Finally, Patricia earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Geophysics, with a minor in Petroleum Engineering, from Colorado School of Mines from 2010 to 2014.
