Sunil Thomas

Sunil Thomas is an experienced technology and business leader with a strong background in public sector and IT management. Currently serving as SVP SLED East at SDI Presence since April 2022, Sunil oversees delivery and sales activities including budget and business strategy for the SLED East unit. Previously, Sunil held multiple key positions in the State of Illinois, including Vice President of Business Development and Group CIO for Business and Workforce Agencies, focusing on strategic planning and IT alignment. Additional roles include CIO for IDFPR, Deputy CIO for the City of Chicago, and Technical Project Manager at Purdue University Calumet. Sunil's earlier experience includes managerial roles at Oracle Corporation and Baxter, along with foundational roles at Frontier Systems Inc and STG. Sunil holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Madurai Kamaraj University.
