Francis Amrit, MSc, PhD

Francis Amrit has extensive experience in the field of research and academia. They currently hold a role as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Translational Genomics Scientist at SignatureDx from 2022 onwards.

From 2011 to 2023, Amrit held various positions at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, including Research Assistant Professor, Strategist, and Project Lead. During this time, they conducted and led multiple research projects, resulting in the publication of over 7 papers and book chapters. They also played a crucial role in securing grant funding of over $1.8 million.

Francis also completed a Pre-University Degree at St Aloysius P U College from 1999 to 2001, specializing in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Biology. Furthermore, they attended St John's High School from 1989 to 1999.

In addition to their formal education, Francis has also obtained additional certifications. These certifications include a Certificate course in Enzyme Assay and Proteomics (institution not specified) and a Diploma in Gene Cloning obtained from the collaboration between St. Josephs Institute of Gene Technology and Wageningen University, The Netherlands.
