Solenn Gouerou

Solenn Gouerou has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Laboratory Technician on a work placement at Prosper De Mulder Limited (PDM Group). In 2005, they became the EHS Manager at APN News & Media, a media company operating in Australia and New Zealand. Solenn then joined Auckland Council in 2008 as an Environmental Policy Analyst for Manukau City Council, where they focused on analyzing environmental policies. In 2011, Solenn became a Project Manager at the Race for Water Foundation, an organization dedicated to water preservation. In 2013, they joined Explore as a Partnership Manager, supporting and identifying explorers who contribute to social and environmental challenges. Their most recent role, starting in 2018, is at OSCAR NAVIGATION, where they initially served as a Project Manager for OSCAR/BSB Marine. Currently, Solenn holds the position of Head of Public Relations for the SEA.AI division (formerly OSCAR/BSB Group).

Solenn Gouerou obtained their DUT degree in Chimie from Université de Rennes I in the period of 2000 to 2002. Solenn then pursued their BSc (Hons) degree in Chimie et Gestion des entreprises at Kingston University from 2002 to 2005. Continuing their education, they received an MBA - Master of Business Administration from Southern Cross University between 2007 and 2010. Throughout their educational journey, Solenn specialized in diverse fields including Finance, Accounting, Project Management, Marketing, and Human Resource Management, among others.
