Dawn Anderson

Dawn Anderson has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Dawn started their career as a Senior Assessor for Executive Projects at Development Dimensions International, where they designed and oversaw leadership development programs for executives and high-potential team members. Dawn also trained new hires and mentored team members. Dawn then worked at Mott Community College as a Career Counselor and Academic Advisor, providing guidance to students and organizing internships and co-op placements. Dawn also served as an Adjunct Professor, teaching various business and management subjects. Dawn later joined Magnet Consulting as a Consultant, where they developed talent assessments for municipalities and VC-owned firms. Dawn also provided employee development training to clients across different industries. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as a Human Resources Director at EVgo, an electric vehicle company, where they established the HR infrastructure and led recruitment, learning and development, and employee engagement functions. Dawn also implemented a total rewards compensation strategy and defined HR processes. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Human Resources at SEA Electric, a role they began in 2023.

Dawn Anderson holds a Master of Science in Administration with a focus on Human Resources from Central Michigan University. Dawn also has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a dual field of study in French and Marketing, from the same university. Additionally, Dawn has obtained several certifications related to human resources, including Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), both from the HR Certification Institute and SHRM respectively. Dawn also holds certifications in PHR-CA and SHRM-CP. Additionally, Dawn has completed a certification in Targeted Selection from DDI | Development Dimensions International.
