Marc Ericksen

Marc Ericksen is Vice President of Sea Engineering, and director of the firm’s engineering division. Mr. Ericksen has over 25 years of experience managing marine renewable energy, coastal engineering and marine environmental projects throughout the Pacific Basin. Mr. Ericksen’s responsibilities with Sea Engineering have included numerical modeling of coastal circulation and plume transport; marine environmental analysis; hydrographic and geophysical surveying; and coastal analysis. Numerical modeling has included state-of-the-art coupled wave and 3-d circulation models to investigate coastal water quality, and contaminant plume transport. Mr. Ericksen has managed numerous long-term instrumentation deployments and field data collection efforts in support of marine environmental impact analyses. Mr. Ericksen is a National Society of Professional Surveyors/Hydrographic Society of America certified hydrographer, one of only three in Hawaii.
